DAY 1.    8AM. We set off on our visit to the fantastic ruins of the former Kmer Empire (8th-12th century AD). Visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Phimeanakas, Elephant & Leper King Terrace . After lunch we visit Les Chantiers Ecoles Artisans D’Angkor (workshop teaching traditional woodcraft and stone artwork of Cambodia). Return to hotel for free time before a balloon ride (or an early evening walk to the top of Bakheng Mountain) to see the sunset over Angkor Wat; then perhaps a tuk-tuk ride around the town before Dinner (7PM) at Chaopraya restaurant.    After dinner take the chance to visit Siem Reap's new Night Market ...quality products and artworks ...and a garden bar with cold beer!   B/L/D

DAY 2.   8AM.  Visit Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Tasom, East Mebon, Sras Srang and ancient Banteay Srei temple.     After lunch at Angkor cafe restaurant, we head off to look at the wonders of Ta Prohm temple then on to the the marvellous Angkor Wat (world heritage site).    Return to hotel around 5PM for a dip in the pool or a nanny nap then dinner with a fabulous Apsara Dance Show - beautiful ladies - great entertainment! B/L/D

DAY 3.   7.30AM.    An early start as we head off for a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake and take in the sights of a floating town and it’s inhabitants …not to be missed!     Around 10AM we return to hotel to freshen up before check-out and the start of a wonderful road trip to Phnom Penh.      A lunch stop at Arunras restaurant in Kompong Thom is scheduled en-route before we finally arrive in the national capital Phnom Penh at around 5.30PM.         A glorious buffet dinner (with lots of seafood) at Tonle Bassac restaurant will round off a truly memorable day.    B/L/D

DAY 4.   8.00AM.  We begin with a city tour of Phnom Penh – visiting Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, the National Museum and the Silver Pagoda.     After lunch at Thmor Da restaurant, we drive out of the city to visit Chueng Ek, one of the “Killing Fields” sites of the infamous Kmer Rouge regime from Cambodia’s recent past.   A sobering experience,  but not to be missed.      Return to town around 3.30PM and it’s time to visit the famous “Russian Market” …deemed to be among the best shopping locations in Asia.       The charming Kmer Sorin restaurant is the venue for our last dinner on tour, then we are free for the evening.   B/L/D
